New Beginnings

Our backyard is filled with life these days. The honeysuckle vines are in full bloom and fill our garden with the sweet, faint scent of honey. The trees have reached over the small fence that divides our manicured yard from the wild and free foliage. Our neighbors roses are peeping over the fence line, affording us a beautiful glimpse of their crimson tone. The garden is growing at full force and soon our berries will turn into a lovely shade of red, black and blue (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries). I love these early weeks of new growth and beginnings for nature and it's wealth of edible delights.
