We wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! Can't believe we are already entering into 2013. It seems like yesterday that we were welcoming in 2012. Time has flown by so quickly this last year, but in this year we have so much to be thankful for. The Lord has blessed our home and family and we thank Him. I pray that this new year will bring many happy and wonderful times for you and your loved ones. I personally don't believe in new years resolutions. I believe that we should always try to better ourselves in every way we can. To constantly strive to be the person we desire to be. I pray that I can draw closer to the Lord and walk a little deeper in His spirit. I pray that He will lead us and use us for His glory. Our pastor has declared this year to be a year of winning souls. He has said his prayer is that  each member of our church will win a soul to the Lord. If we could just each win one soul to the Lord think about how full your church would be. With all the festivities that come with celebrating the new year I pray that you will take a little time to give thanks and worship the Lord as your new year begins. With God all things are possible. Matt. 19:26 God Bless you and yours on this special Holiday~

Christmas Morning continued....

Creating his masterpiece

Absolutely Perfect!

I used some really unique and fun wrapping paper this year...
Old newspaper print... (this was actually a bag) was able to get a few from an old train station museum here in town. The lady working that day was kind enough to just give me some.

We hope you and your loved ones had a wonderful and very merry Christmas this year. God Bless and we look forward to greeting you in the new year!

Christmas Time At Our House

The stockings were hung above the fireplace, the linens(napkins) were pressed and placed on the table. The smell of roasted, honey, ham and other delightful foods was in the air. Christmas music floated around the house filling our home with holiday cheer. Friends arrived and dinner was served. What a wonderful time to spend with family and close friends. Celebrating the birth of our dear Lord. I pray that your Christmas was just as wonderful and filled with many memories to cherish in the years to come.

Every little boy needs a pair of train socks
His new favorite train from mama and daddy
His very own canvas
And of course Curious George

As this post has become already a mile long I will do another one, more like a continuation of this one. I am so happy that I can share our fondest moments with you here.

Christmas Activities

This year I decided to change things up a bit....Jacob got to put his very first gingerbread house together. Oh what a mess, but so much fun to watch him get into it. Little fingers with frosting all over them, leftover chocolate from an earlier treat smeared on his mouth and candy all over the table. I love Christmas time and all the activities that come with it. Not only did he have fun putting it together but he loved eating it even more.
