Mandy's Turkey Soup

I am sure you all have tons of turkey left over from Thanksgiving meal. What to do with all that left over turkey??? Turkey sandwiches, yummy, but can get old pretty fast...My dear friend Amanda, whom I call Mandy, has so graciously given me her special turkey soup recipe to share with you all.....

Ingredients:
3 tbsp chicken bouillon granules
1/2tsp pepper
1/2tsp dried thyme
1/4tsp celery seeds
1/4tsp garlic powder
1 or 2 bay leaves
4 cups of tri-colored spiral pasta (or past of your choice)
2 carrots, diced
2 stalks of celer, diced
1/4 cup minced onion
3 cups cooked, diced turkey

Add 12 cups of water to a large soup pot and all ingredients except turkey and bring to a boil. Cover the pot with a tight fitting lid, lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Discard bay leaves. Stir in turkey and simmer additional 5 minutes. Enjoy!

This can also make a great gift for someone this Christmas (you can swap out the turkey for chicken, if you prefer)
Add all dry ingredients to a large jar with a lid. Type out the recipe (letting the person know they need to add meat and various veggies themselves) attach it to the lid with a ribbon, and voila, the perfect little gift. Be sure to share this lovely recipe with your family and friends. Enjoy!
